The Body Back Buddy should not cause extreme or lasting pain. If you are experiencing extreme or unbearable pain while using the tool, consider applying less pressure for a shorter amount of time.
Correct Use

Apply one of the knobs to a trigger point or pain area and hold the pressure for 10-20 seconds.

We do not recommend rubbing or sliding the Body Back Buddy on the body as it may cause abrasions.
